The Whole Enchilada

This repair is for maximum strength, design and swankiness.  We pull out the special stitches, patch materials and mends for a true one of one.  Great for jumpsuits, army jackets or jeans that have a ton of holes and you want to go for the full 'sashiko' vibe.

This is also the option if you have a piece that you want embellished with 3 or more different repairs.  

You'll schedule a 15 -20 minute consult when you check out, send us your garment and we go to work.

We charge you a $600 deposit, which includes 3-4 mends with multiple embellishments and embroideries. We finalize cost once we have a final sense of the project after our call.

Turnaround:  Typically 6-8 weeks, but depends on complexity.

A Note on Placement & Stretchy Fabric

Bum, thighs, calves all great.  The best places are the traditional areas people tend to put tattoos. 

Crotch repair: This is better left to your local alterationist who can use a darning machine for the durability that the area requires. (Difference between bum & crotch?  Bum faces your friend behind you, crotch is looking down at mother earth.)

Also, visible mends draw the eye. That's the goal.  If they point to any bit or part, that is where your friend or neighbor's eye will go.

Finally, threads and hand stitches do not stretch.  Loose denim or cotton with minimal stretch can work, but skin tight garments with a ton of stretch are not able to be hand repaired.
