What do you repair?
We repair quality garments made primarily from natural fibers:
- Denim and sturdy workwear
- Cotton, linen, silk and other woven fabrics
- Cashmere, merino, wool and other natural-fiber knits
- Light canvas, twill and nontechnical utility garments
What don't you repair?
We stay focused on materials and techniques we can repair exceptionally well. We generally do not accept:
- Leather
- T-shirts or lightweight jersey
- Synthetic fabrics
- Technical or waterproof outerwear
- Highly stretchy garments or tight, stretchy denim
- Crotch repairs
- Fabric too degraded to support a durable repair
Do I need to measure the repair?
Only if you choose Order My Repair. Lay the garment flat and measure the entire damaged or weakened area, not only the visible opening. Round up if you fall between sizes or whole inches.
Rather not measure? Choose Send & Mend. We will measure the garment when it arrives and confirm the repair and final price before sewing.
What if my garment has several damaged areas?
Measure and count each separate area. One or two straightforward areas can usually be ordered separately, with a size and options for each.
Choose a Custom Repair when several areas need different techniques or a more individual plan. Choose The Whole Enchilada for denim with three or more large, connected or garment-wide repair areas.

What does "Starting at" mean?
"Starting at" is the price of the smallest available size, length or quantity for that repair. It is not an estimate. The full price updates as you select a larger size, longer repair or additional repair area.
Repair services start at $80 and include tracked shipping both ways. Send & Mend begins with an $80 credited deposit. Custom repairs start at $100 with a credited deposit. The Whole Enchilada is a $600 flat-rate repair.
How does shipping work?
Once your order or deposit is complete, we send your prepaid shipping label. Send the garment clean and securely packed.
Tracked shipping is included both ways. When the repair is finished, we send the garment home using tracked return shipping.
What is included with my repair?
Every repair includes tracked shipping both ways, a one-year reinforcement guarantee, extra thread in case of snags, care instructions and lots of well wishes.
Are there degrees of subtle or visible?
Absolutely. Choose Tonal for thread and materials that blend more quietly with the garment, or Pop for contrasting color and visible detail. Natural variation is part of the result.
