Our current lot, Genuine Issue, puts military surplus back to work. These bags are built from authentic military surplus — barrack bags, NATO parachutes and webbing, mostly from the 80s and 90s — alongside reclaimed ripstop nylon from a New York design house. Every cut, stitch, and brass grommet honors the craft of reuse, with nothing new unless it has to be.
After years of use, these materials continue to get better with time: antique brass, with its one of one patina; cotton canvas softened from a life of global travel and endless washes; and ripstop nylon reclaimed from NATO parachutes or a New York design house, depending on the bag.
Made in Texas in small batches, every Genuine Issue bag carries a visible history — proof that longevity is a design principle, not a trend.
