Reuse Lot 1: Genuine Issue
Genuine Issue bags are built from authentic military surplus — barrack bags, NATO parachutes and webbing, mostly from the 80s and 90s. Every cut, stitch, and brass grommet honors the craft of reuse, with nothing new unless it has to be.
After years of use, these materials continue to get better with time: antique brass, with its one of one patina; cotton canvas softened from a life of global travel and endless washes; and authentic ripstop nylon - from genuine NATO parachutes.
Made in Texas in small batches, every Genuine Issue bag carries a visible history — proof that longevity is a design principle, not a trend. Carry one and you’re part of a different kind of luxury: the kind that believes waste is a design flaw, repair is rebellion, and good things should be built to last.
