Patch:  Repair Material Is OVER

Traditional reinforcement with an over-patch, sized to stabilize high-wear zones like knees and thighs.  Hand-stitched reinforcement to strengthen holes or frays and add visible artistry.

Mend:  Repair Material is UNDER

The patch sits under the garment to highlight the stitches and maintain the garment's aesthetic. Hand-stitched reinforcement to strengthen holes or frays and add visible artistry.

Overlay

An embroidered design stitched directly over the repair area, combining reinforcement with visible artistry.  Overlays are best for large holes or high-visibility spots where you want the mend to be the main attraction.

Floral Leaf

Simple and organic, our stem leaf embroidery creates a clean visible mend with a whole lot of swankiness.   Great for a clean tear or seam break.

Hand Embroidery 

Hand embroidered roses, stars, or barbed wirelettes are applied to cover and reinforce holes with visible design.

Clean Tear Repair

Stabilizing a straight rip or seam break with stitch work of your choice. A clean tear has no missing material.  If there is missing material, we call this a “hole” and please look at our patches and mends.

Seed Bead Patch

We use the highest quality Japanese seed beads to make little patches for special spots.  The beadwork is then stitched into patches directly onto your garment for a subtle, luxurious detail.  We use silk interfacing if needed.
