Size Repair

We work in inches.  The final repair will add an additional 3/4 inch to the top and bottom (1.5in total) of the repair, which we need to do for structure.  This is called the seam allowance.

Purchase the size according the length of the tear, plus 1 inch to cover the end, of each section.  Size up if in between sizes.  So, if the tear is 3.75 inches, purchase a 5 inch repair.
